As a part of digital publishing, the development of e-book is powerful, in China, the e-book platforms go online one after another, the e-book’s quantity and sales increased a lot. At the same time, the quality of the e-book becomes more prominent and is criticized by readers. The quality of e-books effect the reader’s reading experience and the development of e-book industry directly. Establishing a solid e-book quality guarantee mechanism is imperative.This paper adopts literature research, comparative analysis, normative analysis and case studies and other research methods. The topic is how to set up a comparatively reasonable e-book guarantee mechanism. It clarifies two ways to improve our e-book quality guarantee mechanism. One is to analyze our e-book quality and the current situation of the guarantee mechanism, the problem of the guarantee mechanism, and find a countermeasure from the experience of printed books quality guarantee mechanism. From the internal guarantee, the problems are: no sense for quality first, no established pubic management system, lack of internal supervision, lack of writers and publishers’ service, talent team construction is not optimal enough, the using of digital technology still needs to be improved. From the external guarantee, the problems are: the related law and rules is imperfect, the standard is imperfect and lack of external supervision. From the internal and external communication interaction, the problems are: the enterprises are lack of positivity for participation, the standard is hard to implement, colleges and universities are lack of training for related compound talents and it’s difficult to meet the requirements of e-book enterprises.The paper thirdly takes Amzon abroad and domestic e-books as object of study, specifically analyzed the quality mechanism. This provides informative inspiration for completing the e-book quality guarantee mechanism. It contains: completing digital publishing law and rule system, offering writers and publishers’ service, valuing the updated and optimized of digital technology, valuing the readers’ feedbacks.Finally, according to above analysis, the conclusion is mainly taking actions around the “three points†to improve the e-book quality guarantee mechanism Completing the internal quality guarantee mechanism is the main point.
