The Investigation And Design Of Clinic Information System Based On Powerbuilder

Clinic information management system is the normal and efficient operation of the clinic basic facilities.It is important tools to strengthen the management of clinics and improve the level of diagnosis for manager. Business links between the various sectors and departments and statistics of various medical data need information system in the routine diagnosis and treatment work. With the rapid development of the computer network technology, the medical clinic urgently needs a set of information management system which is suitable for the high efficiency of the unit.This article takes the work flow of a traditional Chinese medicine clinic as the background.It detailed analysis the clinic information system design requirements, the overall data structure and the design of each function module, and the operation of the system were tested.First, we conducted a detailed study of the daily work flow of traditional Chinese medicine clinics, fully grasp the various aspects of the clinic such as fees, doctors, pharmacists and other specific needs. On the basis of meeting the needs of the various roles, the overall positioning and design of the clinic information system is carried out.Secondly, according to the overall design of the system, the system is divided according to the role. According to different characters, the function modules are divided, and the modules are analyzed and designed in detail. According to the characteristics of the clinic, it pays attention to the principle of practicality, safety and operability, using PowerBuilder software development tools, Oracle database and C/S architecture, the system’s data structure is designed.Finaly, through the analysis and design of the system, the research and development of the information system of the traditional Chinese medicine clinic was completed, and the test was carried out in the actual clinic management. Through the test and the result analysis, this article elaborated the improvement direction of the system in the future, and has provided the valuable reference for the further application of the system.
