Study On Narrative In House Renovating Service Reality Show

Life Service TV program has gone through nearly 40 years,With the development of the media as well as the changing of audience’s requirement, Life Service TV program has been subdivided into various types,The forms of these programs began to appear more,from information broadcast to reality show.House Renovating Service Reality Show is the development of Life Service TV program.From 2005, “Trading Spaces” is broadcasted in CCTV Economic Channel,which is the first House Renovating Service Reality Show,This program not only attracted a lot of audience’s attention but also achieved a good reputation. Ten years later,“A Warm New Home”, which is a House Renovating Service reality show boardcasted in Beijing Satellite TV Chanel in 2015.This TV program is full of creative and humanities concern,it gained not only economic benefits but also social benefits.After collecting and reading related paper,The author believes that the research framework of narratological theroy and the analysis of the television narrative vision is a good mode for exploring House Renovating Service Reality Show, it can also help people understand deeply.Firstly,the author analyzed the definition and development status of Chinese House Renovating Service Reality Show.Then,This paper takes samples of “A Warm New Home”,totally 24 programs as the narrative text,using the narrative theroy,the program will be discussed from the narrative subject,narrative content and narrative discourse.Finally,it comes out the value(visual pleasure and mainstream values guide) of the narrative strategy about the program “A Warm New Home”and proposed some suggestions to help countering the difficult situations.As a successful mode of parenting reality show,this program provides a possible direction of the development of House Renovating Service Reality Show.
