With the rapid development of information technology and intelligent equipments entering the pace of life, the application of SCM gradually becomes more and more important. The application of single-chip microcomputer is dependent on the program design of programming languages. C language is now a widely used programming language. C language can be used to develop powerful software and give single chip microcomputer intelligent soul. The main body of embedded robots, which has been widely used, is a single chip microcomputer. Embedded robots used in teaching C language exist in almost all colleges and universities. How to instruct students to use C language correctly and proficiently as well as develop high quality programs with the help of embedded robots need to be solved urgently in the fields of education and engineering, which has drawn wide attention of the society and education departments.Through an investigation into the five-year education of a vocational college, this study looks into the present situation of C language teaching, solving the existing problems among students, such as boredom, weak theoretical basis and failure of putting theory into practice, with the expectation that, using embedded robot as the carrier and through the interactive system, a mode change from rigid into active learning can be achieved. As a result, students’ enthusiasm for learning and their mastery of C language programming design can be obtained.This study aims to develop a C language teaching assistant system, which caters to the students’ need, with the help of VB on the currently available robots. This system is composed of two parts—flow chart programming software and C language programming software. This system uses project overall layout design, makes according link way on the basis of the realization of hardware connection and achieve real-time corresponding of hardware link and the flow chart module; this system uses flow chart-C language interactive compilation process and the two sides can interact. The C language uses modular design. Students can achieve various tasks of the robot using C language programming, use flow chart to design and write C language application suitable for robots and realize the C language-flow chart one-to-one correspondence programming method so as to study C language grammars directly and vividly. The teaching assistant system can provide a favorable environment for C language learning, improve students’ interest in C programming language so as to raise teaching quality. It providesa strong support for the application of the embedded C language.
