At present, most of the domestic satellite communications business is mainly in the fixed satellite communication, unable to realize communication in motion, in the face of natural disasters,war and other harsh environment, mobile communication base stations, power supply and other infrastructure will suffer serious damage,seriously disrupt the communication with the outside world, the rescue work can not be smoothly carried out. ystem can be realized in the motion in real-time to satellite communication.Therefore, based on satellite communication in motion communication equipment- "communication in moving" system came into being.This paper research the mobile satellite communication earth station with two axis strap down, the system can real-time communicate with others in motion through satellite.The vehicle "SOTM(satcom on the move)" system contains the antenna subsystem, servo control subsystem, signal collection subsystem, service processing subsystem and monitoring subsystem five parts.The core of this paper is the research of vehicle "SOTM" servo control system, the main contents include system modeling and simulation, the system hardware architecture, circuit design and the corresponding algorithm design. System simulation using Simulink module of MATLAB; the control system adopts C8051F120 as the core processing chip, the control software is completed by Keil C development environment.Due to the high uncertainty of vehicle speed, traffic and other conditions, "SOTM" servo control system use fuzzy PID control, searching star and aiming star strategy were used frame search algorithm and conical scan algorithm. Simulation results show that the steady state error of input and output of servo system is very small, and the system has good dynamic performance, can meet the requirements of establishing stable and reliable satellite communication on the move.Shaking table simulation tests show that the vehicle "SOTM" system in various hypothetical situations, can be within the specified time accurate aim star and tracking,meet the performance design.Pavement loading test show that the vehicle "SOTM" system in the conditions of a 90 degree turn, a 180 degree turn, down and up the ramp, acceleration and deceleration, and through the tunnel and so on, all of which can be real-time accurate aim star and tracking, in losing star can timely recover aiming star and tracking.This system meets the performance requirements of the provisions of the contract,has passed the scientific identification of the entrusted party.
