With the advent of technology, mobile media was no longer a communications tool in this pure sense, and has started to reach out into ebooks, internet, QQ,WeChat,etc. Its convenience and mobility makes itself an extension of human body, which has been called "media with body temperature". With powerful infiltrative and extensive coverage,the mobile media has great influence on ethnic-minority villages. According to the investigation of Huangmaoping village in Hunan Province, research methods of this paper mainly are participant observation of ethnography. and depth interview, supplemented by the literature material law. This paper researches how villagers use mobile phones and try to present what does the village change in mode of production, inheritance of folk culture and social communications.The whole dissertation includes five parts. The first part is an introduction that introduces the research significance, topics of this study cause, purpose, innovation, media ecology and general information of the village. Then a review and comment of the related theory is presented. According to field survey and depth interview, the second part analyzes the economic effect of mobile phones using by three different professions villagers. The effect embodies in the villagers, as the communication subject, make the best of communication power and serve the needs of national regions economic development. In the meanwhile, this third part analyzes the spreading of traditional custom culture from a point on Miao languages, Miao Ethnic Group’s folksongs and Miao costume with unique Miao nationality features by presenting using and contact condition of mobile phone. In the fourth part, the article analyzes the influence of the mobile media in the level of social communication, which was devided into two aspects. The one aspect reports that the mobile media has placed some positive and negative effects on the family internal social communications. The other part indicats that the interpersonal communication was influenced by mobile media. Specific performance of its influence in:mobile media changes opinion leadership of the village, and brings barriers to external social communications at the same time. The last part is the conclusion. Relying on technology of mobile media, the paper gives the conclusions of the preceding paragraphs, based on which, imperfections of the thesis and negative influence of mobile media are put forward to some extent.Taking Huangmaoping village of Hunan Province as subject, the author discusses on how mobile phone impacts Miao village by field investigation from three aspects such as following economy, culture and social communications. In this case, people can pay more attention to Minority, and Miao villegers are able to bask in information achievements while modernizing the production method and lifestyle.
