The Research Of The New Generation Investigative Journalists’ Occupational Ideology Under The Context Of New Media(2010-2016)

Journalists have different occupational ideology in different historical stages,it change with the times.The rapid development of today’s new media brings a new revolution for our society. It not only changed the way of production and transmission of news, but also exerted great impacts on the occupational ideology of media practitioners. This paper focuses on the occupational ideology of investigative journalists of this new generation,and mainly focuses on the following problems:What changes has this new generation of investigative journalists gone through in occupational ideology under the new media context?What are the differences between them and their predecessors?And what was the reason for these differences?How does the new media context influence the occupational ideology of this new generation of investigative journalist?Therefore this thesis uses in-depth interview to study the occupational ideology of Chinese investigative journalists under the background of new media,exploring their comprehension of media function, their professional positioning and the evaluation of their occupation.
