| In addition to the diagnosis, the medical staff in superior hospital are often bear the scientific research, teaching, etc. Those hospitals are knowledge-intensive organization. Superb medical level is the basic safeguard that provides the high quality medical service to patients, and the raising of the level of medical need the constant supplement of new medical knowledge and skills. Hospital library is the link of knowledge production, dissemination and use.And with the changing information environment which medical staff in, their information needs have appeared in the new characteristics, such as diversity, quality, professional, personalized, and the demand for one-stop, interactive services, etc. Therefore, hospital libraries should to grasp the opportunities brought by knowledge economy, use their advantages, based on the user requirements to expand and improve knowledge service actively, continuously trying to explore better knowledge service model to meet the knowledge requirements of users.User-centered is one of the important concept of knowledge service, and user’s information requirement fully tapped and research is the first job to provide knowledge services to users. In this paper the present situation of hospital library knowledge service, and users’knowledge requirements are investigated and analyzed through the ervice are expounded.The third part and the fourth part are the core part in his paper. Firstly, designed the questionnaire of hospital library knowledge service status and user needs, and analyzed the statistics collected by the questionnaires. Then this paper analyzed the problems and the characteristics of users’knowlede requirements when carrying on tquestionnaire survey method. Through the survey data, analyied the characteristics of users’ knowledge requirement and problems existing in knowledge service of hospital library,then put forward the corresponding solution strategies.The full text is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction, mainly includes the research background, research significance, research scope, research methods, research overview of the knowledge service of hospital library, the library users at home and abroad.The second part has expounded the related theory of library knowledge service, and analyzed the connotation and characteristics of knowledge service of hospital library knowledge service.
