In recent years, Fieldbus technology and distributed control system have been paid great attention by people. For the problem that the information cannot be shared in time, and cannot be monitored in real time, the design of distributed control system in power plant based on field bus technology and distributed control system is developed. Details as follows:At first, the research background, purpose and significance of the subject are introduced in this paper. Fieldbus technology research status at home and abroad is expounded. Through the types of IEC field bus is analyzed, the common fieldbus technology and its advantages and the influence of the fieldbus technology on the development of the distributed control system are expounded in this paper.Secondly, the demand of the power plant is analyzed, and production condition of thermal power plant is introduced briefly. The basic parts of the production control system of power plants are analyzed comprehensively. Application of DCS in the engineering and the process of project implementation example are introduced in detail. In order to solve the problem of information cannot be shared in time, the communication of DCS and PLC system is realized by the industrial Ethernet is applied. The plant production control information network is erected and production real-time monitoring and designs of analysis system are built, the design and implementation of real-time database and real-time security analysis system are established.Finally, engineering design and implementation are performance. EPA fieldbus technology for circulating water pumps house design by using industrial Ethernet. The comprehensive automation of the process of production of the power plant is realized and each link of production is monitored in central control room and operation department in real time and post personnel is cancelled. The purpose of synergism of depletion of numbers and the safety in production are realized. In addition for the economic operation of the power plant is optimized analysis and the level of automation and management of the whole cogeneration power plant is improvement. Through the design, development and application of the system, theoretical and practical basis are provided for the development of suitable for distributed production of heat and power plant control system.
