With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, people’s requirement on the quality of communication equipment and communication more and more high, the ultra wideband (UWB) technology can well solve a variety of communication protocols and various working modes are compatible with each other, and has low cost, low power consumption, fast transmission speed, quickly became research hotspot in current wireless communication technologies. Therefore, it is significant to study the main modules of UWB wireless receiving system.The ultra wide band radio frequency front end receiving system mainly consists of low noise amplifier and mixer. Low noise amplifier (Amplifier Low-Noise) is responsible for the weak signal received from the radio frequency antenna under the premise of control noise amplification, and then transmitted to the next level circuit mixer. The mixer (Mixer) mixes the input signal and the local oscillator signal to make it down to the intermediate frequency signal, and then filter out the out of band signal from the back of the filter. Based on a wide range of industrial applications,0.180 CMOS M technology, this paper mainly focuses on the research and design of low noise amplifier and mixer in 3~10GHz ultra wide band wireless receiving system, which are two main modules.In this paper, the design of two low noise amplifier based on 0.18 CMOS technology in 3.1-10.6GHz band is designed.Are the Chebyshev network correction noise optimization UWB LNA and the noise elimination technology based on LNA UWB chip without inductance. LNA modified Chebyshev network noise optimization based on the third-order Chebyshev network as input structure, main amplifier with source degeneration inductor common source common gate structure and to the noise elimination technique, channel thermal noise is eliminated, so that the entire band NF index decreased to 1.7~2.6 gain to maintain has superior performance in 15dB-20dB. On-chip inductor UWB LNA, removal occupy larger partial spiral inductor, greatly reducing the chip area, and the improved gain improved noise cancellation technology, make noise figure NF is reduced to 1.2~2.6dB and adjusting resistor and transistor gate width value, improve the overall gain of the circuit can reach a maximum of 20dB.In this paper, the classical active double balanced mixer which based on the basic structure is designed, the charge injection method for improving the driving stage transconductance reduce the power consumption of the system, and the combination of linearity improvement technology, design a low power high speed of ultra wideband mixers.
