The chip is implemented in Jazz 0.18μm RF CMOS process, test and simulation results confirmed the feasibility of the circuits for MB-OFDM UWB Recevier. The theis starts with detailed analysis of the UWB receiver's systematic parameters. After some comparisons, the zeor-IF architecture is adopted, then detail module performance assignment including the RF fonrt-end is introduced. The following chapters emphasize on the circuits design:a resistive feedback plus inductor degenerated LNA,gain control and input matching compensation are explored;a merged quadrature Gilbert-type down-conversion mixer, also with the realization of gain control;the whole RF front-end,other supporting modules and the complete receive chain are all introduced. The final chapter discribes the implementation, measurement and simulaiton of the designs, including the measurement of the first version of RF front-end and receive chain, the postlayout simulation of the improvement versions. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Ultra-Wideband(UWB), MB-OFDM, Radio Frequency(RF), Low Noise Amplifier(LNA), Matching, Mixer, Quadrature, Front-end, I-DAC, DCCA, Receive Chain, CMOS | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
