IPv6 technology as the key to the future Internet communications which the huge address libraries can effectively solve the problem that shortage of IPv4 addresses. And its support for mobility but also to ensure its broader range of applications, in addition to traditional communication, but it can also be applied to logistics network, intelligent home, smart car and wearable, and other fields. But with the expansion of its deployment, service quality, switching delays and security issues are highlighted out. Especially in terms of security, because of its support for the mobility feature that leads to security threats it faces more complex. Mobile IPv6 security policy currently in use are generally IPSec protocol and RRP methods were used to ensure that the mobile node on the home agent registration and safety communication nodes. But in the actual deployment process due to defects in the agreement itself and other causes security and deployment difficult and not well balanced. To ensure the security of mobile IPv6 communication is essential to ensure its security mobile node binding registration. So how to ensure communication security in mobile IPv6 mobile node and the home agent between the research is necessary. In this paper, the principle and working mechanism of mobile IPv6 are introduced in detail, and the related terms and improved techniques are explained, and compared with the mobile IPv4. Then introduce the possible threats to mobile IPv6, and elaborate the working principles, methods and procedures of IPSec protocol and RRP protocol in detail. On the basis of this, a scheme of secure communication between mobile node and home agent is proposed, which is based on secure transport layer protocol SSL/TLS and AAA technology. The scheme introduces an entity and named for Harr (home agent resolver router, home agent routing resolution), the use of the entity to establish the security alliance between the mobile node and the home agent for the binding registered for encryption and integrity protection. Also on this basis of conventional RRP for optimization and improvement, and define a test model to test the optimization program, the result is optimization scheme reduces handover latency, reduce the link delay effects on handoff latency.
