With the rapid development of smart grid, the communication network in power system increases rapidly. As one of the three pillars of security and stability of the modern smart grid, power communication network is widely distributed in the generation, transmission, substation, distribution and electricity sectors. In recent years, the power grid construction accelerates the pace of information technology, information exchange between the power systems are more and more frequent. The communication network not only distributes more intensive, but also carries electricity business more and more important. Once the network fails, it will seriously affect the communication between the power system, thus affecting electricity production and management. Therefore, in order to build safe and reliable modern smart grid, it is essential to research the reliability of electric power communication network.In recent years, research on the reliability of public communication network has been a hot topic. But the research on power communication network is lagging behind, and most of the reliability analysis are based on the network topology. Power communication network has self-evident characteristics in its industry, each power business has significant difference demands in real-time, reliability, safety, et al. Based on the above analysis, this paper presents a reliability analysis method of power communication network with business-based.Firstly, on the basis of classification and summary the electricity business, the paper establishes business important value evaluation system. And it evaluates business important value (BIV) based on the consistency of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP).The evaluation results objectively reflect the actual situation of the business. Then the BIV is taken as an important network parameter to analyze the network when the network is under deliberate attack. Network topology model is established based on BIV and attack model is established with edge betweenness. And it simulates and analyses the loss of BIV when the network is been attacking based on a regional network topology with multi-scenario. The result is used to assess the reliability of the network. Finally, it looks for network-sensitive path through the indicators of network risk value, fit, et al. And then it optimizes routing policies from the perspective of the electricity business, the reliability of the network improve effectively.
