With the progress of the society and the rapid development of computer technology, the development of information technology makes all applicati ons become more and more efficient. More and more manual operation has been replaced by computer. This topic, wireless ordering system, is one of these. With the development of social informatization, Catering industry in our country, especially the fast food industry develop rapidly. The traditional catering industry has the situation like high management cost, Low level of management, The waste of human resources, The waiter workload, Low working efficiency, long Order cycle, Run single leakage and waste of resources, which Seriously affect the catering service quality and image. Wireless order system create conditions for making high-grade dining environment, improving customer satisfaction and attracting more customers. And it also improves the automation and informationization level of the catering industry.This project is mainly to complete the wireless ordering food and beverage management system based on Zigbee. The system is mainly divided into two parts-restaurant management system and Wireless in teractive catering system. Wireless interactive catering system is mainly to meet the customer’s order needs, which is mainly based on the android system. Catering management system is to complete the propaganda of dishes and the handling of customer order s.The system hardware is mainly studied the terminals which based on the core hardware platform using Arm9-based Zigbee embedded microprocessor. It communicate with the PC host through wireless communication mode, so that it can implement customer order and related information. Embedded processor system uses the Samsung’s ARM processor S3C2440 A and the high stability Linux system for embedded system platform. The Zigbee wireless communication module uses CC2430 chips. This project completed the order syste m prototype design, is to realize the main functions of the ordering system. The design of software is aimed at conforming to the mainstream computer technology development principles, Standardization and openness, and the System’s advanced, practical, reliable and economic. Our development start from the user actual need, Choose reasonable system environment, achieve modernize the management, improve work efficiency, and take Scientific management policy to Enhance the competitive ability of the enterprise. To meet the needs of constantly updated management mode, Software system design adopt modular concept, can be cut appropriately according to the need, has interface with high flexibility and scalability which can connected to the net of relevant departments.In this paper, embedded technology, Zigbee technology, network technology and software development and related technology are applied. This article explores and designs a wireless order management system based on Zigbee. And the experiment test results show that the system runs stably, which can reach the design target and has the high practicability.
