Design And Implementation Of Library Management System For Lijiang Teachers College

The library is an important department of university, it has a close relationship with the school teaching and scientific research. As the national attention in the construction of university library, the number of university library’s books is increasing, a large amount of data is produced in the process of the management of the library. The management of books in the library is an important and hard work, if you want to use the traditional way to process the data manually, there are many shortcomings inevitably. Along with the application of information technology in the management work in every walk of life more and more widely, as a variety of data information processing center, library must be managed by means of information management system.In this paper, the characteristics of lijiang teachers college library management system, the development method and development steps are described in detail, and through the demand analysis, function analysis, system database design, a more comprehensive and complete system design method is proposed for lijiang teachers college library management system. This system function mainly includes the basis of the books management informatipn maintenance module, book ordering management module, reader library management module, information statistics printing module and system maintenance module. The function of these five parts basically can meet the needs of the daily work of library books management. After the development is completed and put into use, it can greatly improve the work efficiency of library books management and make the library staff to get rid of manual operation mode to achieve the modernization of book management operation mode.Object oriented programming method which makes program more simple is used in the development of this system, Microsoft Visual Basic language is used as the development tool and Microsoft SQL Server as a backend database system.
