Research On Distance Measurement System Based On CMOS Laser Triangulation Method

This paper first compares the measurement environment of common laser ranging systems. for industrial manufacturing measure of size, distance, thickness, choose from triangulation laser ranging system go deep into studying of laser measurement method, since triangulation ranging has a simple structure, computing speed, high precision, it is more likely to be promoted.Triangulation Ranging system has two branches depending on the angle of incidence:the direct method and the oblique method. According to the relationship between pixel displacement and physical displacement, the paper gave a detailed description of commonly used for each target location, according to the characteristics of each method, the subject selects round least squares fitting algorithm locating the center of the spot. This paper choose OK6410 development board as a platform to achieve the ranging system, using semiconductor laser as the transmitting module of distance measurement system, using the OV9650 CMOS-based as receiver module. For the operating environment of the measurement program, this paper has ported the Linux system platform and ported the runtime dependency of the OpenCV library to the Linux system. After building the overall framework of this project, this paper describes in detail the process by V4L2 driver interface stores the received data within the module, and then use Matlab simulation tools to achieve a least-squares fit circle algorithm processes, it provides a way of idea for the preparation of the measurement algorithm.
