As the field of science and technology of construction, aerospace, weather forecasting and measurement engineering development, the application field of laser ranging technology increasingly widespread, but at the same time the requirements for the measurement accuracy of the laser ranging system are becoming increasingly stringent. Typically, high-precision laser ranging system, its overall architecture and interior design is very complex circuits, which causes the volume is large and inconvenient to carry, and many other issues. To solve this kind of problem,This article is intended to ensure that the premise of a certain measurement range and high accuracy, and to design a pulsed laser ranging system which has relatively low cost and relatively simple structure.First, to design a low-cost laser ranging system, this issue is mainly performance by selecting efficient, stable and relatively inexpensive chips and other electronic devices.Secondly, to design a laser ranging system which has relatively simple structure, this issue in the design of the transmitter module, receiver module and time of measurement modules are taking more simple hardware circuit design in its internal structure.Upon completion of the transmitter module, the module in laser ranging system. By performing the main function of the circuit simulation, and then verify that the feasibility of the laser ranging system.and finally, having some theoretical analysis and experimental verification on the main performance of its ranging systems, and then determine the design of low-cost compact pulsed laser ranging system to meet the requirements ranging system.This paper take two-time measurement method as a calibration method for a low-cost compact pulsed laser ranging system, which would effectively eliminate measurement errors, and improve system ranging accuracy.
