Media convergence is a topic of common concern in the academic circles and industry.The development of new media is changing the traditional TV news production and dissemination way, this situation also exists within the urban television station. However,how change happened, the Urban TV news in the use of new media information and what department of the anomie, facing the impact of new media, the value of existence of TV media exactly where.This paper tries to reveal the key.Through internship opportunities in the urban television station, the author starts reserch through the text analysis method and interview method from two lines of text for the news and news workers. Research shows that urban station reporter using new media information has become a common behavior, and there is no operation criterion to regulate it in the TV media, the internal structure of "gatekeeper" also adopted this attitude of acquiescence, which led to the subjects of news, the selection of the feedback source and by influence of new media with "bias".TV media selection of new media, the television news in the construction of cultural identity, connecting urban cultural community appear dislocation; In addition, the lack of normative operation resulting in television news in the use of new media information often face double risk of law and ethics. These phenomena led directly to the decline in the quality of news, and ultimately harm the city television news professionalism and credibility construction.In the face of changes in the propagation environment, TV media need attaches great importance to the construction of the public trust, also need to adhere to the guardian of public interest, the only such TV media to hold on to its existence value, become the socialinformation environment lookout.
