A Research On Korean Outdoor Experience Reality TV Show Pattern’s Chinese Localization

In October 2013, the program Where are we going, Dad was introduced into China, the wind of reality TV show were blowing. A lot of Korean programs have achieved a great success, such as Running man, Two days one night, and We got married. After that, the pattern of Korean variety show was introduced. In the second half of year 2014, when I was studing in Korea, I got a deeper understanding of Korean popular culture. Based on the prosperity of Korean programs pattern in China, and the comprehension of political, culture and economy between Korea and China, I decided to choose the localization of Korean outdoor reality show pattern in China as the research direction.What’s more, considering experience economy and consumer culture, I decided to choose the localization of Korean outdoor experience reality TV show as the research object.During the process of reviewing to the literature, I realized that there are few research on outdoor experience reality show. Let alone the reasons of its appearance and the process of its development. In the literature on Korean variety show’s localization in China, they didn’t regard the outdoor reality show as an independent type.In this paper, the text was divided into four parts. The first part, in the precondition of literature’s referring and images’watching, I analysized the definition and characteristics of reality TV. Based on these, I summarized the definition of outdoor experience reality show. I analysized the characteristics of outdoor reality show, considering its practical production. In order to master the trendency of outdoor reality show in China, I made roughly statistics of outdoor reality show since 2001. Then, I divided its development into three periods according to its characteristics. After that, I tried to find the reason why Korean outdoor reality show was so popular in China. The second part, I explained the necessity for Korean outdoor experience reality show to localize in China. We have many differences in political, culture, ideology and values from Korea. So, Korean outdoor experience reality show have to reform to adapt to Chinese society. In the second part, I analysized its merits from external factors and internal factors. In the third chapter, I indicated the problems by cases, hoping offer reference to the development of outdoor experience reality show in China. As I summarized the process of outdoor experience reality show, I found the development of reality TV show was all reference foreign patterns.So, I put forward the importance of creativity in the forth part. Meanwhile, considering the phenomenon of the overflow stars and overflow children, I adviced to encourage the ordinary people reality show, and supervised the children reality show, in order to enlightenment our outdoor experience reality show.The research methods adpoted in this paper including:literature analysis, case analysis, and induction. I studied the literatures about reality TV and outdoor experience reality show, observed the program sample of outdoor experience reality show since 2001, and regard the Korean pattern outdoor experience reality show since 2013 as objects, summaried the experience and problems in its localizing progress.
