In recent years, virtual reality technology has been widely used in all walks of life. The research has attracted much attention in the field of clothing application. The clothing animation of virtual human can simulate the 3D animation effects, such as movement, deformation, and so on. With the development and wide application of 3D technology,3D virtual garment dynamic simulation becomes the popular and difficult point in the field of virtual reality. In the field of film, television animation,3D online games, virtual fitting and virtual fashion performances, we can feel strong visual effect brought by 3D garment. The in-depth study of 3D garment not only has broad application prospects and economic value, but also can promote and facilitate the development and innovation of related subjects.In order to simulate the dynamic effect of clothing under the external forces, a method of generating vibration motion with quaternion is presented in this thesis. This method firstly uses the parametric equation of ellipse to construct a model of the garment from top layer to bottom layer. Then we add a mass-spring structure for the model. The relative position of the top two layer particles remains unchanged. The elastic coefficient of the spring is nonlinear. Then, the rotation of the top particle of the skirt is realized by the rotation characteristics of quaternion. We give the process of vibration motion generated by the clothing top layer particles. In the end, the amplitude and frequency of the vibration motion are controlled by quaternion. The effect of vibration force can be transmitted through the springs from top to down. By adjusting the different simulation parameters, this paper simulates the dynamic effect of skirt under the vibration force.In this thesis, the dynamic effect of clothing is realized under the action of vibration force and wind force. Firstly, the dynamic simulation of fabric is studied. Then the skirt model is constructed by using the parametric equation. Secondly, the structure of mass-spring model is constructed, and the effect of gravity, vibration force and wind force is added. Finally, the dynamic effect of skirt is simulated under a series of external forces after updating the position and velocity of particles by Euler integral. We realize the simulation of dynamic clothing fast and realistic.
