AS people pay more attention to the safe problems of some special places a nd demand more strictlier for the real-time information.People demand more real-t ime video surveillance system.Because of communication technology,semiconductor techno logy,computer techno logy,and image processing technology are developed b y leaps and bounds.People not only demand the stability of the practical applicati on of control system but also the image clarity of the monitor system.Based on t he analysis of the current situation of the monitoring system development,this topi c is designed to achieve the arm9-based video monitoring system,to realize the re al-time monitoring on the LCD.In this design.I use the ARM9 development board which is integrated with the S3C2440A processor,network card chip,UART,and LCD.Using Ubuntu9.10 as PC operating system.Using the development board and PC to set up development environment.In the process of the establishment of a development environment.I described the cross compile tools installation,the transplantation of the u-boot,the transplantation of the kernel,the establishment of the root file system.I learned and analyzed the LCD driver,video acquisition driver,USB driver by designing the system.In the design,the first implementation is the surveillance image on the LCD display.The implementation steps are roughly:through the application to realize the camera image data acquisition and display on the LCD. In the design,i give three common image scaling algorithm for the relatively detailed description.I extract the edge feature of the three pairs of image scalled.Finally,in considering the effect of the resized images,the resized image edge character,the computer processing ability of the design.And in combination with the practical situation of the processor’s eventually chose to scaling algorithm is suitable for this system.In the realization of LCD driver,because of the specific differences between LCD screen,we need to implement hardware operating part of the LCD driver.In the thesis finally summarizes the full text,and for the future work is prospected.
