Design Of Personnel Positioning And Tracking System Based On Beidou Satellite

Satellite navigation and positioning technology is widely used in many fields and play a huge role in these fields,such as transportation monitoring management,weather monitoring,electric power dispatching,disaster relief and reduction,grazing introduction and so on,making people's life more convenient and quickly.Before the development of Beidou satellite,the applications of satellite navigation in our country depend on the GPS system of the United States.In order to develop the satellite navigation industry and improve the international competitiveness,our country developed Beidou satellite,its unique feature is that it has the short message communication function,which is not available in the GPS system,also has confidentiality,anti-jamming and anti-destruction ability.Developing the application of Beidou satellite navigation system in real life is of great significance to the development of our country's satellite navigation system and the improvement of safety index of people's life.The elderly and children are vulnerable groups in society,lack of self-preservation,without timely care,they will be in danger easily.The elderly and children are often reported missing in some media,therefore,security problems of the elderly and children are worthy of social concerns.In view of the present social common concern of the safety monitoring of the old and children,the paper design a set of personnel positioning and tracking system based on Beidou satellite.The system is composed of a mobile positioning terminal and an Android intelligent terminal as well as a system server.The mobile positioning terminal adopts Beidou receiver unit as the positioning core to obtain location information,using ARM processor as the control module to realize information processing,the communication module can be used to transmit information.The Android intelligent terminal can display the information on the electronic map that realizes personnel real-time positioning and tracking.The system server is served as a bridge of data transmission,the database on the server can be used for data storage and query.Even if the elderly and children are not around us,we can timely know their position by this system.When the elderly and children are in danger,they can make a call for help.Through practical application test,the experimental results show that the system is easy to carry and operate with low power consumption and low cost,which can be widely applied in personnel positioning and tracking as well as other related position service industry.
