Looking Back On Victory Day-The News Planning, In-depth Reporting And Interview Notes Of The 70^th Anniversary Of The Victory Of Anti-Japanese War

With increasingly fierce competition between the news media, the importance of news planning is growing. News Planning is a systematic project contains multiple levels, which includes not only the micro levels like one or more news reports, but also reflects the development of the media planning, market targeting, editorial policy, imposition of thought, as well as special edition column settings, and other macro planning.September 3th,2015, is the 70th anniversary of Victory Day of Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War. To the whole Chinese society, it’s undoubtedly a big event. To the news agencies and editors, they face of such a historic event and "same title essay", and what kind of perspective they choose and how to do the news are the key issues of the 70th anniversary of Victory Day reports. A systematic news planning focusing on a novel perspective and the first-hand historical material mining makes the news reports better readable and interesting, which helps gain a competitive attention in a number of media with the theme news reports.June 2015 to August, I was an intern in "JiangNan Times", and received the task to plan and report the "Looking back on Victory Day" series of reports. Jiangsu Province in China as the main battlefield of the war provides a feasible basis of the News Planning. "Looking back on the moment of victory" was launched in this context, and intended readers of Jiangsu Province as the main audience. The newspaper integrated to dig victory memories and to present the historical significance of the special moments of the 13 cities in Jiangsu.In the three months, I participated in the topics analysis, news planning and reporting after a lot of work. I planed the 13 cities’ schemes in Jiangsu to show the various aspects of the victory of the War, and the topics were like social, cultural, economic etc. What’s more, I interviewed and wrote Nanjing’s four pages mainly news reports. Finally, I concluded the interview notes later which was including some reflection and perception in the whole process in planning and promotion the series of the news.
