The Research In Digital Library Construction Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Colleges And Universities In Anhui

Since the beginning of 2014, "national reading" this concept has been written into the government work report for the third time, in order to adapt to the development of the Internet information age, the state actively promote the provincial municipal digital library construction, which reflects the level of national strategic digital reading attention. Since the eighteenth session of the National People’s Congress, the Party Central Committee and the State Council has always attached great importance to the construction of public cultural service system. At present, the country has 38 Provincial Library and 473 municipal library developing promotion of digital library construction, basic implementation during the "Twelfth Five Year Plan" put forward by the public library for the whole of the country’s goals.As the representative of knowledge organization, the university is the largest field of information demand and use, which has been highly valued by governments all over the world. The construction of digital library is not only the key content of the construction of university library, but also an important part of national higher education informationization development strategy. The digital library project of Anhui province was officially launched in 2009. Up until now, the project has entered the second phase of construction and it is expected that the library of University of Science and Technology of China will be built into a central provincial digital library and digital library of anhui university, anhui medical university, hefei university of technology, anhui agricultural university, anhui normal university, anhui university of finance and economics, anhui vocational college of industry and commerce, anhui vocational and technical college, anhui radio and television university this nine libraries of colleges and universities will be built into provincial digital literature service center within five years. An alliance of digital resources in libraries of colleges and universities will be formed to share digital resources of Anhui province.At present, The construction of Digital Library in Colleges and universities in Anhui is developing in an orderly way, However, the university library is not the same in the aspects of funds investment, construction process, development degree and so on. In the construction of Digital Library in Colleges and universities, the users of digital resources, service providers, policy makers and producers of four kinds of people have what kind of attitude and statement. What are the differences between their expectations and the actual construction of the digital library digital library, and What are the problems behind these differences? This article selects 11 undergraduate colleges and universities of hefei to investigate the present situation and the use of digital resources construction, from the construction of university digital library and digital library in the perspective of different people of the two individual expression level, arounding the theme of digital library from college students use cognitive situation, librarians’ service management status, the curator for the construction of the development of ideas, supplier market law of survival of the four perspective brought to the analysis of current situation of the development of the digital library in colleges and universities in anhui and problems encountered in construction. On the basis of this,what’s the gap between ideal and reality when it comes to sharing and co-constructing digital resources in Anhui province? What countermeasures should we take to tackle these problems? These are the focuses of this thesis.This thesis studies the construction of digital resources in colleges and universities from two aspects including "presentation of colleges and universities" and "individual expression" through a case study of the construction of digital resources in 11 universities of Hefei. The main portion of the thesis is divided into six parts. The introduction part mainly introduces the origin of the topic, the relevant literatures.both at home and abroad, the research ideas and methods of the thesis, the design principles and implementation steps of the questionnaire as well as the core problems of this thesis. The second chapter mainly discusses relevant issues of digital library in colleges and universities, including the concept of digital library, the characteristics of digital library as well as the difference and relation among relevant concepts of digital library.By taking statistical analysis as research method, the third chapter "Presentation of Colleges and Universities" firstly explores the current situation of digital resource construction in 31 university libraries of Anhui province and analyzes the overall situation of digital resource construction of library in Anhui province. Second, by taking Hefei as the city for research and selecting 11 universities in Hefei as research sample, Respectively from the funds investment, library bibliographic database construction of digital resources, digital resources construction, the co-construction and sharing of digital resources four aspects, this chapter analyzes the overall condition of digital resource construction in library and the problems existed in the construction.By adopting questionnaire survey and depth interview as research methods, the fourth chapter "Individual Expression" selects libraries of 11 universities in Hefei as research objects and studies digital library in the eyes of different people by conducting questionnaire survey among college students and a depth interview among college students, librarians, curators and suppliers of database. From four aspects of cognition, management services, construction and development ideas, market rules of survival, this chapter discusses the status quo of digital library construction and facing difficulties in universities of Hefei.Based on the previous analysis, the fifth chapter from the college student perceptions of digital libraries, digital library digital library insufficient analysis in the construction process in the presence of the construction funds and the overall quality of the three angles of University Librarian and Causes. The sixth chapter points out the problems existed in digital library construction in colleges and universities and puts forward corresponding solutions.The conclusion and reflection part emphasizes the position and role of digital library in colleges and universities, and examines the feasibility of digital library resources co-construction and sharing project. In the end, this thesis reflects on the inadequacies of the research and shows expectations for follow-up studies of this topic.
