| Founded in 1952 and one of the two major news agencies in the mainland of China, China News Service (CNS) has played an important role in China's international communication and built a good reputation among overseas Chinese media and audience. However, CNS is confronted with many difficulties in recent years, such as insufficient financial support, severe competition and lack of freedom, which slow down its development. Considering this situation, the writer of this thesis hopes to find a way in which CNS could conquer these difficulties and make continuous development in the future. |
