With the widespread use of new network applications such as social network, cloud computing and network multimedia, the scale of data to process get bigger and bigger, and the research of many-core processor has become new research domain for many countries.With the proposition of being autonomous and controllable,and considering country safety,x86 instruction set research has become urgent task in our country.Processor verification is the most important process in the development period.In this thesis I propose a new verification system platform for x86 instruction processor research.Compared with the ordinary FPGA verification platform, this platform is compatible with collaboration with X86 main board, and I adopt a new designing scheme which is software and hardware verify cooperatively. This verification platform not only provides high-efficiency platform for x86 instruction set code,but also lays afoundation for many-core research of x86 instruction set.The thesis is aimed at designing a verification system for researching many-core processor of x86 instruction set.And the main work of this thesis includes:(1)Research the design of FPGA verification platform,and make design scheme.(2)Complete the hardware design of FPGA verification system which is dedicated to X86 instruction set many-core processor.(3)Complete the software design of verification system,realizesoftware and hardware verifying cooperatively.(4)Realize the verification of Mesh network structure for X86 instruction set processor,and analyze the test result.The verification platform has the characteristic of specificity,high-efficiency and dependability. This achievement is useful for providing the quality of chip design and the speed of development.With the completing of verification for x86 many-core instruction,which remedies the vacancy of x86 instruction set research in our country,and which accords with the policy of being autonomous and controllable.
