With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, the home life of comfort, safety, convenience and intelligence requirements are also rising. Smart home involves communications technology, sensor technology, computer technology, automatic control technology, security technology and embedded technology, especially the development of networking technology enables the study of smart home become hot. The family intelligent gateway is the most important means of intelligent home systems, which is the heart of smart home, and study and implementation of family intelligent gateway is particularly important.The family intelligent gateway is the core of the smart home, which is the bridge that is connected to your home network and the external network, and it combines information output, the information input, information collection, remote control, centralized control and other functions. Family intelligent gateway not only complete the function of all household electrical equipment control, security alarm, but also complete wireless routing functions to communicate via wireless communication and intelligent control terminals. At present, because of different home appliances major companies control interface, it needs to install a lot of smart home system control terminal which are not compatible, configuration complexity, complex operations. So study a humane, practical and easy to use control interface with a unified family intelligent gateway is particularly important, not only to improve the quality of life of people, but also conducive to the development of the smart home market, so that more families to use smart home products.This thesis is to study and implement family intelligent gateway, particularly to embedded technology, Ethernet technology, GPRS,4G, WiFi and ZigBee technology. Microcontroller of family intelligent gateway chooses embedded processor chip S3C2440A. The use of centralized management, the principles of decentralized control and modular design make the system design more compact, easy to expand, to avoid complexity and redundancy. The paper describes each module component selection and circuit design principles in detail. The family intelligent gateway use two network mechanisms, namely high-level Ethernet, GPRS,4G and WiFi networks, and the secondary network is ZigBee. Level network management terminal is used to smart home information exchange, to achieve home security, home environment and household electrical equipment remote handset control and management. Secondary ZigBee network is for home networking of all electrical devices, which is controlled by family intelligent gateway. Thesis research and implementation of family intelligent gateway can also be managed through the management software on the local LCD touch screen control. The network structure is provincial wiring, reduce costs and flexibility. In this paper, the intelligent home gateway uses Windows CE embedded operating system to develop the management of terminal family intelligent gateway software, including the expansion of Windows CE 5.0 operating system kernel tailoring and migration, stream interface driver development, protocol design and home intelligent gateway management terminal software written. Paper introduces software design of household electrical equipment control, security control, local control, and two network communications. Figure [40] table [1] reference [47]...
