In view of the passive millimeter wave defects on the detection of moving target from close range,In this article, based on the principle of passive millimeter wave radiometer,adopting direct detection by millimeter wave radiometer, combined with the DSP hardware,Construction of passive millimeter wave detection system. Through different types of moving targets tested to obtain a series of data samples.The analysis in the target of the collected signals, pointed out that the first peak signal pulse and pulse time is effective information of the characteristics of the target, and puts forward the calculation method of target movement speed.First, this paper introduces the characteristics of different objects in millimeter wave band, and according to the theory of ground objects radiation, calculated the millimeter wave radiation power and the relationship between the temperature. According to the principle of identification of a millimeter wave detector, applicable to the scheme of target recognition method is proposed. On the working principle, structure and function of millimeter wave radiometer are discussed, on the front end of the radiometer low noise amplifier and detector are analyzed in test.Secondly, presenting the hardware design of the overall program, and ultimately selected as the core of TMS320F2812 DSP signal processor,studying the passive millimeter wave field experiment has been designed movement target data acquisition hardware circuit design.Thirdly, in view of the radiometer signal A/D sampling, designing the software of the system, and put forward A series of algorithms, and the pretreatment of sampling signal.Finally, the data acquisition system has been carried out in laboratory test experiment,make the system to get the desired effect, and then through a lot of data collection of outdoor environment experiment,According to experimental data, summarizes the passive millimeter wave radiometer in deecting moving target output signal characteristics, experimental resultsshow that this method has certain accuracy, the passive millimeter wave radiometer system used to detect moving targets from close range and target parameters is feasible.
