With the continuous development and progress of society, intelligent video surveillance which features wireless networking, real time and unattended management is becoming more and more urgent. Therefore, the wireless intelligent video surveillance technology has become a hot research topic in the field of video surveillance.Obviously, multi-channel wireless intelligent monitoring system consists of two elements, the first is that’s a multi-channel wireless monitoring system, the second is it’s "intelligent". Therefore, this paper from the practical application requirements of video surveillance system design and implementation wireless multi-channel video monitoring system based on TI Davinci platform. Then the major application of intelligent video analysis technology in video surveillance—the intelligent parking lot, is also studied.This system which based on TI Davinci series TMS320DM8168 as the core processor, combined with the H.264 codec, streaming media transmission and wireless technology, is designed according to the needs of the application of video monitoring system. The wireless multi-channel monitoring system consists of the multiple capture module, video coding and decoding module, video storage module, video processing module and wireless transmission network. Each part is responsible for different tasks, between the parts of each other to undertake collaborative work. Multi-channel capture includes the standard capture, HD-SDI capture, IP Camera capture, and the capture of multi-channel video could transmit to the far end through the network.In the development of software system, this paper designs a multi-channel video capture, video encoding, video decoding and local video storage module software, which is based on DVRRDK software framework. To make the system have the ability of multiple network video capture and transmission, the streaming media client program openRTSP and streaming media server program wis-streamer of open source project live555 has been redeveloped to combine with the DVRRDK framework, which realizes the networking monitoring system. In addition, this paper also completed the porting of DM8168 platform USB wireless network card RT3070 driver module, and built the wireless video surveillance of local area network.Then, multi-channel wireless monitoring system test environment which based embedded dm8168 platform has been built. The paper completes testing and analysis of the system performance, and the system function, real-time and network transmission performance is present. Test results show that the design and implementation of the system is of a high resolution, low latency, wireless network transmission and supporting multi channel.Intelligent parking lot has a broad market prospect in the field of intelligent video analysis. At the end of this paper, the key technologies of intelligent parking space is reseached. For single monitor screen which monitors multiple park spaces, the paper realizes the intelligent calibration of coordinate parking information, then extract the parking spaces. For the segmentation of a single parking space, combined with a variety of algorithms such as license plate location,and apply it to the parking state detection algorithm. The related simulation and research has certain reference value to the actual construction of the intelligent parking lot.
