Radar confrontation is playing an increasingly important role in modern warfare, and is the key factor of winning the war especially in the aspect of intelligence gathering and electromagnetic interference. This paper focuses on the principle of radar, describes six key technologies of the radar signal processing in an example of the warning radar which is the representative of mechanical scanning and pulse agility, analysis and simulate the signal characteristics of the sample warning radar, and finally reproduces the radar signal on the platform of arbitrary waveform generator. On the basis of above, the paper divides radar countermeasures into three aspects: investigation, against and interference. The main work of this paper is:1. Analysis the requirements of against system of radar detection, fraud and interference, discuses five areas of functionality and implementation, design and verificate the hardware system of UAV DRFM. The test indicates that the DRFM designed by this paper can satisfy the design requirements and has the basically functions against radar.2. Divide radar confrontation into frequency measurement of pulse signal and radar location single station. Two improved methods which have better frequency accuracy and frequency stability are proposed based on the classical crossing zero frequency measuring, one improved method which can solve the hurdle effect of polyphase filtering algorithm is proposed. The test indicates that this method can detect 100 MHz to 500 MHz frequency in a better resolution of 152 KHz.Finilly, two methods which only relay on single antenna in the radar location are used in this DRFM.3. Design the corresponding cheat programs based on the principle of radar detecting distance, speed and altitude, and achieve on the designed DRFM. The indoor test indicates the DRFM can generate the false signal, and the outdoor test demonstrates the DRFM can deceive the target radar successfully.4. Divide radar jamming into investigation jamming and broadband jamming, this paper analyses this jamming methods and achieves them on the designed DRFM. The indoor test indicates DRFM can reply interference signal continuously when using investigation jamming and generates any signal needed when using broadband jamming.
