Radar countermeasure is one of the key technologies in electronic warfare, and it plays apivotal role in modern warfare. Phased array radar is a kind of detection system of versatility,high reliability and adaptive capacity. Phased array radar, especially with the characteristics ofnarrow main lobe, low side lobe and rapid beam scanning, has found wide applications in themilitary. How to do against with phased array radar effectively has been a hot spot in themilitary field across the world.This thesis firstly described the basic theory of phased array radar, with focus on thestudy of radar pattern models of linear array antenna and planar array antenna, and theirsimulations are given. Secondly it studied basic principles of main active deception jammingmethods including distance deception jamming, speed information deception jamming andangle information deception jamming. Their simulations are done respectively. Thirdly thejamming effects of phased array radar are evaluated. The interference exposure area of phasedarray radar is analyzed and simulated, under the condition active jamming. Emphasis is laidon the simulation and analysis on the jamming methods of Range Gate Pull-Off and multiplefalse targets against phased array radar. Finally the work done is summarized, and theproblems to be further studied are presented.
