Radio Frequency Identification, or RFID technology, represents a communication technology, which uses radio signal information to identify specific targets and to read the data information without the need of establishing optical or physical contact require between the identification system and targets. It is also known as radio frequency identification. The working principle is to harness the RF signal circuit, coupling and transmission to realize the automatic recognition of dynamic and static objects. Radio frequency identification system is generally composed of RF reader, RFID tag, antenna and power supply. The RFID carrier frequency is divided into low frequency, high frequency, ultra-high frequency and microwave frequency, among which the ultra-high frequency RFID technology is capable of reading-writing long distance targets, multiple tags simultaneously and large data memory. This Paper mainly researches the ultra-high frequency band.This paper is based on the application direction for ultra-high frequency technology in real industry, and the design goal is to integrate RFID, intelligent mobile phone, Bluetooth wireless transmission and database technology, and design a set of mall-size mobile and hand-holding RFID reader that is compatible to the ISO/IEC18000-6C protocol standard and that works in the UHF(860MHz~960MHz) with low power consumption. Through debugging and testing at the design stage of the system, the system is designed to meet the basic requirements of all those indicators, with its reading sensitivity and reading distance reaching the ideal range, and at the same time to further explore, in the design process of the system, ways of infusing RFID technology with smart phones, so as to realize the goal of achieving arbitrary communication and information transmission between smart phones equipped with a Bluetooth module and the RFID.Firstly, This Paper introduces the research background and significance of the development, then the research status of RFID at home and abroad, in particular, the UHF RFID technology and development trend were briefly introduced. Finally, it introduces the contents and structures of the Paper.Secondly, the radio frequency identification technology and Bluetooth technology is introduced, which then leads to the selection standard of the designed system.Next, according to the demand of the project, the Paper selects power consumption, transmission distance and other parameters for benchmarking choice, determines the appropriate RF, Bluetooth chip and software development environment, completes building the overall framework of the system, and finally according to ISO / IEC 18000-6C protocol selects PR9000 as the core chip for RF control which works in UHF(860MHz~960MHz), and HC-05 for Bluetooth communication chip, and then determine the follow-up system development process.Finally, the author introduces the hardware and software design of the system, determines the system hardware architecture and software development process, and goes through independent unit testing and integration testing. By focusing on system energy consumption, reading distance and system reliability and other performance indicators, the system hardware circuit and software system is tested. The final stage of the system design includes the tag canning of the smart phone controlled RFID reader, and evaluation of reading distance, one-time tag-reading number and ID identification accuracy rate.
