The speedy development of information technology has made the demand of data acquisition system more and more intense. In national defense, people’s livelihood, industry and other field, the data acquisition system is everywhere. High speed acquisition system with high sampling rate and high throughput has a very broad development prospects. In this thesis, based on the development of high speed data acquisition system, the data interface of the data acquisition system is studied and implemented.In the process of the whole society towards intelligent, more and more devices are connected with the computer, the data of the device is stored and analyzed by the computer. And the sharp increase in the amount of data, makes the transmission speed requirements getting higher and higher. In the choice of the transmission interface, PCI-E bus is undoubtedly the best choice at present. It has fast transmission speed and single-duplex transmission mode, it is down-compatible with PCI interface. The stability of the data acquisition system is not only related to the design of the hardware, but also the effective support of the driver. Firstly, in this thesis, the characteristics of computer I/O bus development and PCI-E bus are introduced. The key to understand is PCI-E configuration space used in driver development and PCI-E affairs used in debugging. Secondly, this thesis analyzes and discusses the structure of Windows operating system and the framework of driver development, studies the development method of Windows driver. Thirdly, this thesis analyzes the demand of high speed data acquisition system, introduces the overall structure and hardware design of acquisition system, detailed designs three operating modes of sampling system. Based on these design, this thesis proposes the design process of interface dirver. Fourthly, based on depth study of windows drive program development, according to the designed requirements of the driving program, from the driver initialization, I/O request processing, interrupt processing, DMA operation aspects introduces the realization process of the data acquisition system driver. Finally, aiming at the characteristics of high speed data acquisition card, provide the method of installation and test, and the function of each module is verified and tested.After testing and analysis, based on high speed data acquisition system this thesis introduces the research and implementation of PCI-E interface technology.Combination with the data acquisition card, realized the computer control of the data acquisition card and the collected data transfer to the computer by the DMA mode and stored successfully. Through a large number of test to verfy the driver can stable operation in Windows.The project has a great pritical value.
