With the development of science and technology, modern manufacturing industries have being taken more attention on the improving of the production efficiency and optimize management. Now there is a solution called MES(Manufacturing Execution System) which can provide a smart decision for the enterprise decision-making level with the aid of the MES. And during this thesis, a suitable MES system for the experiment center has been developed according to the actual request.MES designed in this thesis is based on SSH2 framework and SOA architecture, it adopts the Oracle database as the data server, uses MVC design pattern and takes XML as the language for data interaction. This system references the design idea from some excellent MES systems. The design and implementation of MES are based on real demand. The main work of this paper described as follows:1. From the base concept of MES and the MES model, some principal technologies which realize the MES system are analyzed and studied such SOA architecture, MVC design pattern, SSH2 framework, oracle and XML.2. According to the process of software development, demand analyses of the MES system were processed firstly to obtain the development objective. Some requirements from the real business have been presented included product tracing, raw material management, production dispatching, order and equipment management, schedule and test management, mould and feeding management and product packaging management.3. The detail design and implementation of the each functional module are presented with corresponding flow chart and algorithm. And the screenshots of the MES system are given with the key code.4. System test of MES system is presented for each functional module with designed test cases. Throught the test results, it shows that the MES system designed in this thesis has meet the design requirements.The MES system designed in this thesis now has been deployed into the experiment center. With the high performance UI and quick start manual, it has been proved that the MES system played a good effect. And it plays a key ro le in the productivity enhancing and quality improving.
