Database Course is a strong theoretical and practical curriculum of colleges and universities. To deepen students’ understanding of the curriculum, not only face to face teaching but also experiment needed. However, the constraints of space, time and resource limits the students’self-learning arrangements and teachers’teaching evaluation. To solve the above problems, the thesis studied and implemented Oracle Database experimental platform based on Web technology. This platform combines database experiment, teaching management and teaching evaluation. Because the platform is based on B/S access mode, so students can always be accessed and do the experiment through a browser. It plays an indispensable role in strengthening the traditional classroom teaching.Firstly, the thesis does a thorough study on the status of database teaching mode and virtual laboratory, and proposed to build database experimental platform. Then by researching the technologies of platform related, derived platform using SSH2Web framework of MVC design pattern to implement. On this basis, the thesis analyzes the requirements, determines the architecture and functional orientation of the platform. Following, we use SSH2framework to develop the Oracle Database Experimental Platform. In this part, we proposed an implemented Hibernate dynamic database access mechanism to improve Hibernate dynamic database access of multi-user. At the same part, we designs and implements database experiment module by using Ajax, regex and LogMiner. Finally, we deploy the network environment and test the functionality of this platform. The results show that the platform can run normally and reliably.
