Research And Implementation Of Marine Transportation APP Interaction Design

With the popularity of smart phones, more and more mobile applications have entered people’s lives, and there is no exception in the marine transport industry. Many marine transport companies have developed mobile phone applications, but only a few of them have been put into use. The positioning of existing shipping class APPs is not clear, and they are used as a means of propaganda for the company. At the same time, the function of APP is relatively simple, which can not meet the needs of users. In this paper, in view of the marine transportation industry’s demand for APP and the existing problems of marine transportation APP, a marine transportation APP research was proposed based on the practical project of Qingdao Taifei International Logistics Co., Ltd.In this paper, all the user’s demands for marine transportation were get based on the user research method, and then the design and research of marine transportation were conducted. First, an in-depth research on the marine transport industry was carried out through data collection and field visits, the necessity of marine transportation APP for the marine transportation management was proposed, and advantages and disadvantages of the existing APP mode for marine transportation management was analyzed. Secondly, user investigation of shippers and forwarders was carried out using questionnaires and user interviews, in order to study the shippers and forwards’ usage of marine transportation APP and get the user’s demand for the modes and settings of marine transportation APP. Then the user’s needs were refined and transformed to further determine the priority of product functions. Thirdly, taking Jincheng Logistics APP as an example, the usability test and interface analysis of the existing marine transportation APP were carried out to summarize its advantages and disadvantages. Combined with the user needs obtained in the process of previous user research, the interactive mode and interface design criteria of the marine transportation mobile APP are obtained. Finally, under the guidance of the previous research, the design practice was carried out on the "Hi Yun" APP of the Taifei international logistics. Combining the running mode, function settings, interactive mode and interface design of "Hi Yun" APP, the positioning of the APP was identified, and the interaction process and framework were designed. Then the low fidelity and high fidelity prototype design was completed, and the visual design of APP interface was conducted to implement the whole set of interaction design of "Hi Yun" marine transportation.Based on the design practice of the "Hi Yun" APP of the Taifei international logistics, design research of marine transportation APP was carried out in this paper, in order to guide the follow-up related mobile APP design...
