Usability Evaluation Of Mobile Applications Based On Log Mining

《The thirty-seventh China Internet network development situation》 shows that, at the end of 2015, the number of mobile phone users in China has reached 600 million, the overall use of mobile applications rose by 58%. As an important part of the user experience of the network-availability has been a high degree of attention, including Tencent, Baidu, Alibaba and other Internet companies. At present, the availability of Web sites and mobile applications, both in theory and in the specific evaluation of products have achieved fruitful results. In comparison, China’s research in this area is mainly related to the optimization of navigation design, the improvement of user experience, and the usability research based on efficiency. There is still a lack of heavyweight research on the usability of mobile applications. According to this, the following research work has been carried out in this paper:(1) Describe the availability of the concept and evaluation model, and analyze the characteristics of mobile Internet products, on stage in the mobile application usability study attributes, content and method of comparative analysis, to summarize the characteristics of mobile products, in reference on the basis of previous studies, first using the grounded theory, the literature mentioned the usability evaluation index and measure the parameters of open coding extracted 95 concept,30 categories, through the relationship between these categories of axial coding, identified six main areas of study, establish the mobile Internet products usability evaluation model.(2) By using the thought of analytic hierarchy process, the influence coefficient of each index in the model is determined by the expert scoring. The availability affect the biggest are proportion of users through the completion of a task, complete the task time, the user viscosity, the error rate is, the weights are in more than 10%.(3) Discover user access behavior and attitude through the log data, the log data is "pocket NJU" mobile application stage of data. Firstly, I do the data cleaning, session identification operation, structured data, the user access patterns mining association rules, discovering frequent access, building access path graph, the access path graph, analysis of user access patterns, to put forward the proposal to optimize the product.(4) Log extraction as a usability evaluation of the parameters and the availability of the product as a whole for evaluation research and analysis of the old and new versions in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction of performance and the usability evaluation indexes applied to product design, product design followed the basic principles are presented.It is found that the combination of the evaluation system and the log mining method can greatly improve the efficiency and accuracy of the usability evaluation.
