Once as an imported media product, talk show has gone through several stages such as overseas introduction, imitation and mimicry, modification and developing, innovation and localization. The highlight of talk show is the utterance of hosts. It not only refers to the content and context, but also implies its manner and strategy, as well as the hosting characteristic and style, extends the host’s personal charisma and brand image, stepping forward the localization of talk show on some extent.This paper chooses the Jinxing Show which was newly unveiled in early 2015 as the research object. This paper teases the vein and significance respectively via studying the utterance of hosts and the development of talk show, exploring the strategy of host’s utterance and innovation of localization, concluding that the host’s utterance’s strategy is the core of localized innovation. The paper firstly embarked on analyzing the host’s utterance in Jinxing talk show, reviewing the linguistic design, advantage and characteristic of the utterance, style and form it presented, striving to dig out the trace of how the utterance was formed. Secondly, the paper did case analysis of Jinxing’s talk show in detail through section interviewing, speech and questioning and answering. Thirdly, through the case analysis of utterance presentation and strategy, we conclude that the host’s utterance strategy is the sufficient condition in process of talk show’s localization. Finally, we surveyed the significance of the Jinxing Show for the localization of talk show programs and the reforming and innovation of localized TV programs through studying the choice and implementation of utterance strategy and the intention of programs’ design.Our own introspection and suggestions are also put forward in conclusion. The author believes that the implementation of the utterance strategy of modern talk show provides a significant boost for the reforming and innovation of localization of talk show programs.
