The Design And Implementation Of IT Asset Configuration Management System Based On Domain Driven Design

With the rapid development of economy and business, more and more companies, including banking, insurance, aerospace and other companies, have deployed a large number of business management system. How to operate and maintain a number of business systems with high efficiency becomes one of the core issues that need to be considered in the process of IT development. In order to improve enterprise operation and maintenance efficiency and reduce the error prone manual maintenance of the rate, a lot of enterprises began to adopt a unified operation management platform for IT service management to support the sustainable development of enterprise IT operation and maintenance department. IT asset configuration management is an important subsystem of enterprise operation and maintenance management platform. This paper will design and implement the IT asset configuration management system based on Domain Driven Design theory.Under the strong demand of the asset configuration management in IT enterprises, the author gave full consideration to the IT asset allocation system for future development of ITIL operating platform subsystem, and combined with the variability and complexity of IT asset configuration management, finally performed IT asset configuration management system based on Domain Driven Design. In this paper, the system has been applied in the author’s enterprise, which not only improves the working efficiency of the operation and maintenance personnel, but also provides the data support for the enterprise IT decision.In this paper, the design of IT asset configuration management system can be divided into three main functional modules of asset management, configuration management and statistical statements. Asset management module can be divided into entering assets, asset vetting and asset life cycle management three sub function module, and configuration management module includes configuration database model, configuration database initialization, configuration item maintenance. Each function module is connected with each other which constructed the core business of the asset configuration management together.The main features of the IT asset configuration management system include:(1) the system design uses domain driven design idea to adapt to the high complexity of the research area and the need for frequent changes in the scene;(2) the search range included not only the complete life cycle management of asset, but also the IT configuration management;(3) the system design process fully consider ITIL standard, which is convenient for the system to integrate with other business systems and ITIL core workflow.
