The pulse air-knife dense phase pneumatic conveying has already applied in modern industrial materials’ conveying because of the low transport gas(materials)speed, low gas consumption, low delivery pressure, low material damage rate. This paper chooses the pulse air knife type dense phase pneumatic conveying system as the research object and analyzes its control strategy, to make the transportation process automatic, and improve the system transmission efficient.Firstly, this paper selects beans as the delivery substance,the control system has to achieve the transport requirement that the material and the gas rate reaches 120,the length of materials slug reaches 3.6 meters, conveying distance reaches 45meters。This paper models and analyzes the phase diagram and load of the pulse air knife dense phase pneumatic conveying system, including the pressure drop model of the materials slug and the gas slug in the pipeline, and fluidization model of the particles in the fluidized chamber of the sending tank.Secondly, directing against the manual control and the one level control(PLC control) of the conveying status, in order to realize the pulse air-knife dense phase pneumatic conveying’s automatic control and the information requirement of enterprise, this paper establishes the general control system of the pulse air-knife dense phase pneumatic conveying, that is, the three level control scheme of the computer. The system from top to bottom is the management level, control level and component level. This paper designs the function of management level and the way of communication between the two levels; establishes the general control flow chart and input/output distribution table of control level PLC for the pulse air-knife pneumatic conveying system.Thirdly, in order to control the gas supply of the system precisely, this paperanalysis of load and control strategy of the fluidized gas system of the sending tank,the conveying gas system of conveying pipeline, pulse gas system of pulse pipeline,supplement gas system of the supplement pipeline. These control strategies reduce the loss of the transport gas in the greatest extent.Finally, this paper verifies the effectiveness of the control strategy, realizes conveying materials-gas ratio and slug length parameter requirements; uses the PID control method and fuzzy control method, obtains gas pressure and flow rate that the loads need quickly.This paper realizes the control of the material comprehensively, and a variety of materials sharing one device, increases productivity, reduces labor intensity and cost,realizes precise control to the gas pressure and flow rate, reduces the loss of gas transmission effectively. This paper has certain practical application value, and has a certain degree of reference significance for other forms of pneumatic conveying control system.
