With the development of electronic information industry, people of information collection requirements are also getting higher and higher,the video image is very important part of information industry, so the video image acquisition and processing, become very important. This paper uses FPGA as the core chip with other peripherals, to realize the video image acquisition, transmission, processing and display functions.As a kind of high speed logic chip, FPGA has been widely used in industrial, military, aerospace and other fields because of its good programming performance, and very high degree of freedom. At the same time,because the high speed operation and processing ability, it becomes the core chip which can not be replaced in the video image display equipment.This system mainly uses the IIC communication bus to carry on the FPGA and the AD chip communication,quartus II to the logic compilation and example the IP core, and the Altium designer to the circuit diagram drawing.The main work of this paper is to build the system, through the camera to collect the video image signal,and transmitted the signal to the DAC chip, here we use the ADV7180 chip, the chip will receive the signal and converted into digital signal through the analog signal conversion circuit, and the digital signal is a digital signal of the ITU656 standard,at the same time the FPGA core chip through the IIC control module communiacte with ADV7180 chip,to set the DAC register, to make the DAC chip can transmit the data to the FPGA, signal transmission will be converted to FPGA, FPGA to receive data to processing, filtering,transform, and finally through the FPGA internal LCD driver module transmits the data to the LCD display on display.In order to ensure the clarity of the image in the process of dataprocessing,we use the deinterlacing, to shielding the flickering effect interlaced, and we use the FIR filtering to ensure the data reliable.
