Some Design And Implementation Of Secondary Vocational School Teaching Affair Administration System

As a section of daily management work in the secondary vocational school, teaching affair administration mainly covers work related to students status files, grades, course-selection management, teachers’information, curriculum arrangement and classes. With the rapid development of the Internet, the society has entered the network & computer era. In this case, it is imperative to rely on the network information technology in the times to improve teaching affair administration, which will also help promote the teaching management level of secondary vocational schools and facilitate to school development. In addition, as the current society is in great demand of knowledge and skills, and vocational schools enlarge their enrollment scale, the contradiction between limited resources and over demand comes into being accordingly.Based on the management process of teaching affairs administration in secondary vocational schools, functional analysis has been conducted in this paper into three categories of users:administrators, teachers and students to find their needs. Several modules of courses arranging management, examination management, course selecting management, teaching plan management and grade management are set up through the decomposition of various modules for different users to set the most reasonable function interface. B/S (Browser/Server) structure is mainly adopted in teaching affairs administration system in secondary vocational schools. Visual Studio 2010 was selected as the development platform using ASP.NET technology and SQL Server 2008 database, with computer network, middle ware and component technology fully combined. While providing communication channels in teaching, it helps users to have a quick access to information, achieve the aim of improving the work efficiency ultimately.
