The Study And Design Of Comprehensive Administration System For Teaching Affair On Digital Campus

It is important to utilize advanced technological means and guidelines to improve education, training and management, and the overall training qualities. As one of the extremely important components in the digitized campus the management information system for the education administration manage is very helpful to build university's teaching administration, to improve the working efficiency of the administrative staff of the education administration, staff member and every institute and department teaching directors, to cooperate with other systems in "digitized campus", and to realize the irredundant, unified information management together.In this paper, a comprehensive administration system for teaching affair on digital campus is study. To develop the system, its scalability, maintainability, reliability, openness, security, data transmission rate, interactivity, and so on have also concerned. In order to ensure the functions and features mentioned above, the following techniques are adopted:A. Combination of C/S (client/server) and B/S (Browser/Server) structures is adopted to ensure the scalability, configuration, updating, maintainability and failure isolation.B. TCP/IP is adopted to ensure the openness and resource share.C. Distributed database is adopted to separate the relations into several parts to make it easy and convenient to organize information on the users' demands. There are four methods to separate the relations: horizon method, vertical method, leading-out method, and composite method. Various methods are adopted to various relations.a. Horizon method is used to deal with the relation between the College Central Database and the data from each individual department to combine and reform the relations, as data from the department is mere sub-collection of the College Central Database.b. Vertical method is adopted to deal with the relation between database server and the data from the WEB database server since data is separated in terms of the practical function.The central database undertakes data management and analyses. Each individual department only stores its related data and sends its updated data to the College Central Database. Therefore, transaction copy is used to get the business data synchronous, with database of each department as the publisher and deliverer while the College Central database as the reader, to set up the snapshot agent of the data of each department and store the synchronous information while the database is being delivered.D. Redundancy technique is adopted. And techniques such as double nets, double servers and double front-layers are used to ensure the reliance of the system.E. WEB delivering technique allows for the Intranet and Internet to upload the relatedinformation at real-time, which is available to the authorized users anywhere and anytime. In the development of this system, I am responsible for systematic demand analysis,system overall designing, design program partly and debugging systematically and system testing mainly. Through the efforts of more than half a year, the system is designed and already finished, come into operation. Functionally, meet requirement of system, various kinds of performance reach goal that book basically.
