Based On The Design And Realization Of Vocational Colleges. Net Development Platform Educational Management System

This paper explores the designing, the decision scheme and the application of the teaching administration system of higher vocational colleges. This system can be used in a large scale and it is in accordance with the commonness of general higher vocational colleges and the actual needs of the author's school (Leshan Vocational and Technical Institute). It mainly analyzes informatization and modularization of the teaching affairs on the basis of the credit system, the course-selecting system. This design can meet the need of teaching administration of modern schools, accelerate the construction of our digitalized school, and make good use of means and technologies, such as campus network, multi-media etc. improve the efficiency and quality of teaching affairs.On account of the requirements of the present system and conditions, the teaching administration system of higher vocational colleges is designed on the ground of combining B/S and C/S structures by adopting .NET as the development platform. The organization and function of the system is divided according to the two-level administration pattern---institute-department. A detailed study and design has been given to the function and use of the sub-system, including basic database management, teaching plan management, registration management, the sub-system personnel management, course-arrangement management, course selection management, examination transaction management, score management, graduation management, the management of teaching materials etc., and particularly, it has made a special elaboration on the application of the course arrangement module.The design and application of the teaching administration system in higher vocational colleges ensures teaching administration in the author's school more scientific, more systematic, more standardized, much faster and more convenient, more exact so that higher work efficiency has been achieved, and also this system is easy and convenient to operate for leaders, administrators, teachers and students. This system will have a positive influence on the campus informatization of Leshan Vocational and Technical College.
