With the rapid development of urbanization, the transmitting station of radio and television which was originally in the suburbs becomes in the urban district. The signal coverageisgreatly weakened by the groups of buildings and ground network, which restricts the development of medium wave transmitting station. The high-frequency electromagnetic waves and lightning climate have serious disturbance to the electronics facilities around the transmitting tower as well as have great threat to the residents nearby. The majority of medium wave transmitting stations is going to be relocated due to above reasons. Meanwhile, with the development of radio and television production technology, a single medium wave transmitting station is facing the need of upgrading to the integrated Radio and TV station.The escalation of the medium wave transmitting station into integrated business due to the relocation increasing the overall technology, reliability and security of transmission station which can sustain the stability of traditional business, but also expandthe scalability of the new business.This paper is to address the ideas and strategies of the relocation of radio and television transmitting station system atically by giving an example of Guangyuan 527 radio and television transmitting station. There are four parts in this paper.1、The AM and FM radio broadcast coverage prediction field, digital television coverage and gate limit calculations combined with the radio wave propagation theoryaccording to the relocation demand of Guangyuan 527 radio and television transmitting station. The AM broadcasting field strength coverage prediction uses a single path method, according to the theory of wave propagation along the spherical surface diffraction field strength prediction. And the field strength prediction of FM radio is based on the CCIR recommended method.2、The site selection through the field strength coverage prediction, electromagnetic radiation environmental impact prediction, site area estimates, as well as the basic supporting conditions and comprehensive consideration. When the electromagnetic radiation environment is predicted, the effects of the radiation of the directing wave and the first reflection wave are emphatically discussed, analyzing the minimum protection distance between the transmitting area and the surrounding residents.3、Describes the major subsystems design of the radio and television transmitting station, with emphasis on the transmission system, Antenna system, medium ground network, supply and distribution system, the source system, integrated lightning protection and grounding system. The medium wave launching system and FM launching system in the launching system are described in detail. In the medium wave launching system, the network of medium wave antenna, the antenna mast, and two sets of antenna deployment of network parameters such as selection, components are made by detailed analysis and design respectively. The FM transmitter system of antenna, composition, field type, are introduced in detail,Lightning protection system, for the power supply line, computer room, signal cable made by analysis and design, and the area of lightning protection and induction lightning shielding protection has made a detailed analysis and response to deal with it.4、Introduces the processof the installation and commissioning equipment in radio and television transmitting station, as well as the outcome by monitoring the signal coverage in this new site.
