The further development of the information age, changing people’s way of life, and promotes the social progress. Among them, the network communication plays a basic role. Especially in the sea, desert, mountains, forests and other remote areas, power supply is difficult to guarantee, mobile base stations can’t be universal coverage. At present, the only way to solve the problem of this type of communication is to rely on satellite as a relay for communication.Beidou satellite navigation system is Chinese independent research and development, and is now in the implementation, the independent operation of the global satellite positioning and communication system. Rapid positioning, precision timing, and short message communication are the three major functions of beidou satellite navigation system. Beidou satellite’s short message communication function is unique in the beidou satellite’s function. It provides a more reliable solution for sea, mountains, forests and other remote areas’ communication.This article first expounds the significance of information, analysis the beidou satellite navigation system. Then combined with the embedded system and Zigbee wireless communication technology, propose the design scheme of the control system based on the Arduino beidou satellite short message communication. Beidou satellite short message communication control system is composed of five modules:Zigbee wireless data transmission module, network and display module, power management module, the Arduino master control module and beidou terminal module. In this paper, we design each detailed module hard ware circuit and software program. CC2530 is chosen as the processing core in Zigbee wireless data transmission module, drive DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor and MQ-2 smoke sensors to collect data, then through the Z-Stack protocol Stack wireless sending data. Network and display module will deploy Arduino master control center as simple server configuration, Users can browse the web or see TFT displays real-time data monitoring nodes. Power management module take the Arduino pro mini as the processing core, offer power supply for the Arduino master control center, and real-time monitoring and display the battery. Arduino master center connect the module, combined with reliable transmission algorithm, drive BDG-MF-05 beidou terminal to send and receive data.After repeated debug, the experiment results show that the design of short message communication control system beidou satellite communication are of good quality, low Communication cost, and communication reliability and stability is strong, therefore it can provide a feasible design scheme for remote area’s communication.
