With the development of computer technology, visualization technology have become more and more important in various fields. It will become a tre nd in the future. It can turn the boring data into intuitive graphics, which makes it easier for the people to understand information. Visualization technology promote the production and bring huge economic benefits. Especially in the field of geological prospecting, seismic visualization is a kind of cutting-edge technology, which is an important approach to research reservoir structure and subtle reservoir reservoirs. Currently, the geological experts need a seismic visualization software with high-precision trait, which can make full use of seismic information.I will design a micro-seismic visualization system. It is based on the basic principles of the visualization, and uses Qt and OpenGL. According to the demand of seismic data visualization system, I will divide the system into four parts(i.e.,data management module, seismic analysis module, visualization module, interactive modules).Firstly, I will state the situation of visualization systems at home and abroad and the significance of researching the subject. Secondly, I will analyze the basic principles of the visualization, and introduce the relevant technologies. Then, according to the demand of seismic data visualization system, I will show how to divide the system into four parts. Next, I will analyze structure of SEGY, give a way of reading it, and introduce the brick to solve the storage efficiency problem; at the same time, I also introduce the way to draw waveform, graphics rendering method and texture mapping technology; At last, some algorithms about graph will be mentioned and analyzed.
