In recent years, with the development of the assembly automation in the electronic industry and the rise of the labor costs, the replacement of the manual products with the machine hand has become an inevitable choice for the sustainable development of the enterprise. Among it, the automatic screw machine can greatly reduce the manpower, and improve the production efficiency,which constantly promote the research and development of the screw machine.To design an automatic screw machine control system with high-level automation, the paper carried on relevant analysis and research on the related technical difficulties of the screw machine combining with the literature review based on an extensive reading of by relevant literature at home and abroad. Based on this, the paper designed and developed the automatic screw machine control system based on on the STM32. The main research work and achievements are shown as follows:1.The structure of automatic screw machine was firstly analyzed. Then, the paper determination to use two pieces of STM32 microprocessor to respectively develop the man-machine interactive touch screen and the motion controller. Then, the paper designed the hardware principle diagram of the touch screen control panel and the motion control board.2.The paper then carried on the study of genetic algorithm and acceleration and deceleration control algorithm. The genetic algorithm was used to to optimize the locking path of the automatic screw machine, and the S-shaped acceleration and deceleration control curve was adopted to plan the speed at the continuous straightway so as to ensure the smooth and steady movement of the automatic screw machine.3.According to the requirements of the automatic screw machine control system, the paper designed the functional system which could operate the system. The design mainly contains the initialization of the control system, the speed control method, the genetic algorithm, and the motion control software, etc.Finally, the paper summed up the research work, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the design plan, and put forward the solution aiming at improving the shortcomings of theautomatic screw machine control system in the research.
