Inner Mongolia Electric Power Research Institute Management Information System (MIS) 1.0 started online execution in 2003. After several years, its compatibility and extensibility have been inconsistent with its current situation, and it needs to design and realize the system again. Under this background, this thesis analyzes the business functions of Electric Power Research Institute, and discuss the design and implementation process of this MIS in Electric Power Research Institute step by step.Electric Power Research Institute MIS adopts layered design technology, including presentation layer, business logic layer and persistence layer. We use JQuery MiniUI, JSP, Spring MVC to implement the presentation layer. We adopt componentized Java Bean and domain objects to implement business logic layer. We choose MyBatis to realize the data persistence layer and utilizes Oracle lOg to store data.Basic modules of Electric Power Research Institute MIS could handle the daily functional affairs in Electric Power Research Institute, including system management, work contact list management, travel expense account management, expense accounts management, documents management and short-term temporary labor employment management. The system adopts the access control method based on roles to realize the associations between users and roles, and between roles and resource authority, which ensures that system users can only access the system authority that they should possess. The system realizes the functions of management by administrators on department, personnel, user, resource authority, and implements the workflow management for filling work contact lists, short-term temporary labor employment application forms, expense accounts, documents, which should be approved by related leaders for professional personnel.Electric Power Research Institute MIS that designed and implemented by this project has being already running successfully, which achieve the expected development goals. The development of this new edition of Electric Power Research Institute MIS improves the usability and security of the system and guarantees the efficient and ordered daily production work of Electric Power Research Institute.
