With the rapid development of cloud computing, cloud service providers will provide services to more and more users. When providing on-demand service to users, a single cloud service provider may not be able to satisfy users’ service requests, or the performance of the service may decrease. Since the ability of a single cloud service provider is limited. Cloud Networking is a new research field of cloud computing. It can connect users to cloud services and implement interconnection of different services across cloud service providers. Cloud Networking is able to provide on-demand network connection to cloud service providers. It also can provide services across-providers. When a single cloud service provider can’t meet user’s service requirement, cloud service providers can cooperate to provide services for users. So user’s service requirement can be satisfied better. The cloud networking oriented cloud service negotiation and allocation mechanism is proposed in this thesis to solve the issues of cooperation among cloud service providers in cloud networking. When the cloud service providers in cloud networking need to cooperate with other providers, in order to effectively select the cooperate partners to improve the cooperation efficiency, cloud service provider that initiates the cooperation builds the acquaintance set about cloud service providers according to the collaboration history. Firstly, it will evaluate the quality of cloud service providers belong to its acquaintance set according to the historical service record. Then it selects the appropriate number of high quality cloud service providers to interact and negotiate. For the negotiation issues among cloud service providers, the mechanism is based on the idea of bidding from contract net model to realize the interaction and negotiation among cloud service providers. When cloud service provider needs to cooperate with other providers, it will execute tendering process. It will exchange messages with, cloud service providers that chosen from acquaintance set to realize interaction and negotiation. And cloud service providers who receive the cooperation request will carry out the bidding process. They send the corresponding feedback information according to the resources it owns. For the service allocation issue, in order to provide a high quality of service to users, through the interaction among providers, cloud service provider that initiates the cooperation allocates the services based on the quality of service. And cloud service providers that finally execute the service can be determined according to the allocation result. Then they cooperate to provide services for users. The negotiation and allocation mechanism is implemented and simulated, and compared with a benchmark mechanism. The results show that the mechanism proposed in this thesis can improve the cooperation efficiency among cloud service providers and satisfy user’s requirement better.
